Jonathan's background is in technology risk management and the strategic use of technology.

Jonathan has developed and instructed a series of operational and security-related technology courses on behalf of provincial CA institutes across Canada. As an author for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in Toronto, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in New York, he writes technology publications and self-study texts, and develops several different training products, such as seminars, workshops and online courses.

Jonathan has provided assurance services for more than 25 years, carrying out risk management work throughout the public sector and various industries, including oil, airlines, banks, agribusiness, general trading, iron and steel, light manufacturing and financial institutions in the UK, US, Canada, Middle East, South Africa and Bermuda.
