FAQs
Who would SmartCourse e-learning be offered to?
This is a decision for the Sponsoring Association. The "primary" market would be the market of interest to the Sponsoring Association, such as the membership and other organizations that the Sponsoring Association may wish to include. The “secondary” market is managed by our strategic partner, Vubiz. SmartCourse e-learning modules courses are added to a Professional Development catalog, made available to corporations, non-profits, and governments at various levels throughout North America. |
Can we have our own standard “look and feel”?
The “look and feel” of a Sponsoring Association SmartCourse is in the hands of the Sponsoring Association. When a small number of presentations is selected as an initial trial, this gives us the opportunity to develop necessary standards suitable for the Sponsoring Association.
What about quality control?
If a presenter adheres to conventional guidelines for good quality presentations to a live audience and the topic is current, there should not be a problem. (We can provide specific guidelines on good presentations, suitable for adapting to a SmartCourse).
When reworking a presentation, the first step we complete is to develop a “treatment”. This would be provided to our contact at the Sponsoring Association for any fine tuning and approval. After the SmartCourse is developed, access is provided to our contact at the Sponsoring Association for final input and approval.
Who hosts the course?
The courses would be hosted by Vubiz.
How is the course integrated into our Web site?
Vubiz provides the Sponsoring Association with a link to a launch page having the same look and feel as other the Sponsoring Association Web site pages.
How is the e-commerce aspect handled?
Members and others will be able to browse the catalog on the launch page, read the SmartCourse overviews, and select the required titles. Course registration and payment is handled by Vubiz - royalty payments are made on a regular basis to the Sponsoring Association.
What will Business Diagnostics do for me personally?
The Business Diagnostics process and framework will allow you to further enhance your role as trusted financial advisor. You will be able to provide pragmatic direction to your clients by taking them through the 'size up' process and in effect, provide them with an annual financial AND strategic check-up.
By adding such value to the client relationship, you will be successfully differentiating yourself in your respective marketplace.
How can I find out more about the courses?
You will find course-related information on this Web site. You are welcome to contact us with any questions or concerns.
How will Business Diagnostics help my client's business?
Business Diagnostics (BD) recognizes that company owner-managers may not have the time, inclination or the financial resources to attend lengthy management development programs.
The 'size up' process brings owners-managers up to speed in as short a time as possible, allowing them to make more intelligent and tactical managerial decisions as to the action items required.
To facilitate the implementation of such action items, the BD seminar series covers a range of growth oriented topics from strategic/business planning, growth options and the successful attraction of debt and/or investment capital.
